MiniMoves to help the Olympianist
Recently MiniMoves have been asked by the Gloucester Music Society, to help the Olympianist on the Gloucestershire leg of his tour. Which is 1200 mile cross Britain cycle tour with piano in tow.
Concert pianist Anthony Hewitt – will cycle with a piano ‘in tow’ from Land’s End to John O’Groats to raise money for various charities. Anthony hopes to complete the 1,200 miles in 21 days by cycling up to 100 miles a day giving 27 concerts at various locations en-route. Including a cliff-top performance in Portland, a concert with the Manchester Camerata, and a concert on the shores of Lake Windermere.
MiniMoves has been asked to help with the logistics of the Gloucestershire leg of the tour which is in aid of The Gloucester Music Society a historic society formed in 1929. The Gloucester Music Society takes pride in engaging some of the finest musicians from around the world whilst at the same time being noted for its friendly and informal atmosphere. The Gloucestershire venue for the Olympianist will be St Mary de Lode Church, Archdeacon Street, GL1 2QT
